How Demographics Affect Quality of Work Life and Work Life Balance

The aim of this research is to identify is there any impact on quality of work life and work life balance of tourism industry workers given by demographics factor (age,gender and marital status). How age gives impact on quality of work life and work life balance; how gender gives impact on quality of work life and work life balance; and how marital status gives impact on quality of work life and work lifebalance. Methods of data analysis used in this research is chi-square method with the help of two categorization, three and five in all datas from all respondents. This research was conducted in some big cities in Indonesia involving 150 male and female workers, working in tourism industry. The findings show that there is no impact on quality of work life from age, gender and marital status. Age does give an impact to work life balance, while gender and marital status do not give any impact to work life balance.
