Esaunggul.ac.id, Esa Unggul University Powered by Arizona State University held an exploratory hearing for cooperation and finalization of the draft MoU with the South Lampung Regency Government on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at the South Lampung Regent's Office.

The Esa Unggul University delegation was led by Dr. Ayu Larasati, S.Sos., M.Ikom as Head of the Cooperation Bureau of Esa Unggul University, accompanied by Dr. Evi Febriani, S.Psi, S.Pd, M.Psi as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, and Dr. Ummanah, S.Sos, M.Si as Head of the Study Center of the Faculty of Communication Sciences.

The South Lampung Regency Government was represented by M. Darmawan as Assistant for Government and Community Welfare, Puji Sukanto as Head of the Regional Government Service, and Agus M as Staff of the Regional Government Cooperation Section.

Scope of Cooperation

This meeting resulted in an agreement to hold a follow-up meeting to finalize the draft MoU with the Regent of South Lampung. The collaboration will cover several strategic areas, including:

Faculty of Psychology will collaborate in Mental Health programs, Counseling Services, and joint research with Bappeda related to academic studies that support regional development.

Faculty of Communication Sciences will contribute through research, community service in public policy, and internship programs for students to provide practical experience while supporting local government innovation.

This collaboration is expected to generate significant collaboration in the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education: education, research, and community service.
