Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul powered by Arizona State University has again expanded its international network by signing a strategic partnership with Jiangsu JITRI Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Research Institute (IIMT), an intelligent manufacturing technology research institute based in Nanjing, China.

The signing of this agreement took place at the Universitas Esa Unggul campus in Jakarta, which serves as a hub for international collaboration integrating education, research, and innovation on a global basis. This collaboration represents a concrete step in strengthening global synergy in higher education, research, and technology development.

The collaboration was officially signed by the Rector of Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma Among Praja, ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng., and the Executive Director of IIMT, Luo Minzhou. This signing marks the commitment of both institutions to building sustainable collaboration that impacts the development of science and technology at the global level.

As a higher education institution that continues to promote internationalization, Universitas Esa Unggul sees this partnership as a strategic opportunity to strengthen academic capacity while opening up access to research collaborations based on cutting-edge technology. Meanwhile, IIMT is known as a research institution focused on the development of intelligent manufacturing technologies, including collaborative robots, autonomous vehicles, and artificial intelligence-based industrial automation systems.

Through this collaboration, both parties agreed to develop various collaborative programs, including student and lecturer exchanges, joint research, international scientific publications, and the organization of academic forums such as conferences and workshops. Furthermore, the collaboration also encompasses the development of joint academic programs, internationally funded research, and cultural exchanges and study visits.

The Rector of Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma Among Praja, ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng., said that this collaboration is part of a strategy to strengthen the university's position at the global level.

On the other hand, IIMT Executive Director Luo Minzhou considered this collaboration as an important step in expanding the cross-country research and technology development network.

"This collaboration opens up a significant opportunity to combine the research and innovation strengths of both institutions. We see strong potential in developing technological solutions that are not only globally relevant but also able to meet the needs of industry in each country," he said.
