Rosita Amilia (NIM: 20240302034) won a Gold Medal (1st Place) in the Biology category at the 2026 National Student Academic Olympiad (OKASN) organized by Prestasi Anak Bangsa.
This national-level competition was attended by 43 participants from various universities throughout Indonesia, making it a competitive event that demands mastery of scientific concepts, analytical precision, and critical thinking skills in the field of basic science.
In the competition, Rosita Amilia excelled through her in-depth understanding of biology concepts, particularly those related to metabolism, enzyme activity, cell function, and human physiological systems. This achievement also demonstrated the strong relevance of biology to her Nutritional Science major at Universitas Esa Unggul.
"As a Nutrition Science student, understanding biology is a crucial foundation for understanding the human body's metabolic processes. This competition helped me strengthen my scientific analysis skills while also honing my precision and critical thinking skills," said Rosita Amilia.
The competition, held on February 8, 2026, not only serves as a platform to measure academic ability, but also as a means to develop students' scientific character in facing academic challenges based on research and data analysis.
