Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul Powered by Arizona State University students have once again achieved a proud achievement at the national level. Siti Faridah (NIM: 20231002047) won 1st place in the Senior Female Individual Kata at the 2026 Jakarta Karate Open & Festival (JKOF) Series 9.

The competition, which was held on May 1–2, 2026 at the Ciracas Sports Hall, East Jakarta, was attended by around 100 karate athletes from various regions in Indonesia, making it one of the prestigious events in national-level karate development and competition.

Dalam kategori Kata Perorangan Senior Putri, Siti Faridah tampil unggul dengan menunjukkan teknik yang presisi, konsentrasi tinggi, serta penguasaan gerakan yang matang, sehingga berhasil mengamankan posisi juara pertama.

The Rector of Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma Among Praja, ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng., expressed his appreciation for this achievement as part of strengthening the character and achievements of students.

"This achievement reflects that Esa Unggul University Powered by Arizona State University students are not only trained to excel academically, but also to possess the discipline, competitive mentality, and strong fighting spirit to compete at the national and global levels," said the Rector.

This achievement also strengthens the commitment of Universitas Esa Unggul Powered by Arizona State University in encouraging holistic student development, through a balance between academics, sports, arts, and national competitions as part of forming a superior generation with global competitiveness.
